Upstairs, people drop coins into wishing wells and hope. Down here the world is the other way up, so the Wunderwell hands a coin back. It is called a Wunda, it is small and wooden, and it may travel home with your order.

The wishing well that runs backwards.
The Wunderwell sits among the roots of the Wunderwood, half inside a hollow of the trunk. Dark root hollow, golden sap-water, teal light around the rim, and small wooden coins rising slowly from below. It is not a village wishing well. It is the heart of the wurld, and it has one very firm rule.
No coins are to be thrown in. The process has been reversed. We mean it.
What a Wunda is
A Wunda is a small wooden wish coin from the Wunderwell. One Wunda ships with selected orders, comes free with larger ones, and may one day be sold on its own. Hold it, imbue it with a wish, and keep it close. It is yours, and it is a conversation starter that has been known to lead people back down here.
