WHAT YOU'VE BEEN SOLD
Summer, outsourced. It never arrived.
Summer used to be a season. Now, in the Ovurwurld, it's a heat warning on your phone, a delayed train on a melting platform, and a desk fan pushing warm air around a room while quietly running on hope. The bright, green, alive part, the actual freshness of high summer, got outsourced somewhere along the way and, like most outsourced things, never quite arrived. Which leaves the question of where you get it now.
The office air-con is a rumour. The bright green blade is not.
