WHAT THIS ACTUALLY IS

Spruce Essential Oil, steam distilled from the needles of Picea mariana, black spruce, from the United States. Fresh, deep and coniferous, with a dark, balsamic, softly sweet forest character, cleaner and quieter than the brighter pines, the smell of a shadowed evergreen wood on a still winter afternoon. For aroma use only with suitable diffuser or aromatherapy equipment. Spruce is a gentle conifer oil, but keep it fresh and stored cool and dark, as older, oxidised conifer oil is more likely to irritate skin. Do not ingest; do not add to food or drink; do not use in baths; do not apply to skin, even diluted or on broken skin; and do not use for massage or personal care. Avoid use during pregnancy and around children under 3. Avoid eyes and sensitive areas. Keep away from children, pets, heat, sparks and open flames. Store upright and tightly closed. Use in a well-ventilated space and never leave heated equipment unattended. Seek professional guidance if breastfeeding, taking medication, managing a health condition, or using around vulnerable people. Discontinue use if irritation occurs.
