WHAT YOU'VE BEEN DOING
One purple, one price
Mass retail did to lavender what it does to everything: flattened it into a single smell at a single price point and put it on a planogram, until nobody remembered there were altitudes and harvests and depths to the thing at all. The bunch by the till. The pound-shop drawer liner. One note, endlessly, sold as the whole flower.
There were always deeper purples. The shelf just couldn't fit them.
