WHAT THIS ACTUALLY IS

Frankincense (Pure), the neat, undiluted resin of Boswellia carterii from Somalia, steam distilled, also called Olibanum. Warm, deeply resinous and balsamic, part old church and part sun-warmed pine, with a faint bright citrus lift, richer and rounder than the dilution because there's nothing in it but the resin. The smell that has marked sacred hours since Hatshepsut, undiluted and unhurried.
